Adams Electric Sign Company was founded by John Adams upon returning from World War II. He began painting signs in his garage and soon moved to four buildings in downtown Massillon, Ohio. While at that location, John pioneered the forming of plastic sign faces and was the first to offer complete custom signage to northeast Ohio.

In 1982, a new building was erected in the recently developed Massillon Industrial Park. The new building, consisted of 70,000 SQ. Ft. with 62,000 ft. dedicated to manufacturing and 8,000 sq. ft. appointed to the design department, administration and sales offices to better serve our clients needs.

After the passing of John Adams, the family sold the business. The current ownership purchased the company in 1990. Today, Adams Signs & Graphics has office locations in Westlake (Cleveland West) , Aurora (Cleveland East), Valley View, Dublin (Columbus) Ohio, also Detroit, Michigan and Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Maintaining the company headquarters and manufacturing facility in Massillon, Ohio, we provide a fleet of company owned installation and service vehicles. We extend our reach through our network of associate sign installers nationwide.  Adams also provides a dedicated account manager to oversee your project and keep you, the client informed on the progress of your program.
